Description

The innovation presented here, realised from requests of the profession, consists of a machine for pruning and shaping of the foliage of the back faces of the trees at the vertical. The first difficulty to complete this task is to work with the trees opposite of the road where space circulation is limited to 0.80m.

The cutting element can reach 10 meters height. Only an important weight at the base with a very low center of gravity can make it possible to ensure balance, essential to the safety of the machine, supplemented with a system of stabilisation. 

This innovation was conceived and validated in close cooperation between our office of engineers and the national agency of French research.
